Sponsorship on Steel.Directory
Advertising is sold separately from membership and verification, always labelled, and deliberately limited so the directory never feels crowded.
Steel.Directory reaches the people who actually use a steel directory — buyers sourcing material, traders identifying partners, mills looking for service centres, processors finding fabricators, and researchers mapping markets. Sponsorship puts a business in front of that audience in a clean, clearly labelled way.
Sponsorship is intentionally limited. A small number of placements keep the directory fast and useful, so that advertising supports the directory rather than overwhelming it. Every paid placement is marked “Sponsored” and is kept separate from verification decisions and from search relevance for non-advertised listings.

How sponsorship works
Placements are booked per slot and per period. Because the number of placements is limited, a slot may not always be available for every page or position at the time of request. Where a slot is free, it can be reserved for a fixed term and renewed on expiry.
Sponsored placements never influence verification decisions or the editorial independence of the directory. A sponsored company is not a verified company by virtue of advertising, and a verified company is not given preferential advertising treatment by virtue of verification.
All advertisers must comply with applicable law, including honesty in advertising and disclosure of material connections. Steel.Directory reserves the right to refuse or remove any advertisement.
All paid placements are clearly marked “Sponsored”. Advertising does not affect verification decisions and is not an endorsement of the advertiser.
